Robert ParkerRobert Parker has selected two of our wines in his list " Top Value Bordeaux Wines ".

"Here is a general guide for value-priced red and white Bordeaux, followed by some specific tasting notes.

Médoc and Haut Médoc :

d’Agassac, Arnauld, d’Aurilhac, Beaumont, Belle-Vue, Cambon La Pélouse, Camensac, Charmail, Citran, Coufran, d’Escurac, La Goulée, Les Grands Chênes, Greysac, Haut-Condissas, Larrivaux, Lestage, Liversan, Moulin Rouge, Les Ormes Sorbet, Patache d’Aux, Potensac, Rollan de By, Sénéjac, Soudars, La Tempérance, Tour de Haut-Moulin, Tour St.-Bonnet, La Tour Séran, Verdignan."

VINTAGE SMARTS

"Keep in mind that 2005 will always come at a high premium. Certainly it is a top vintage, but when you consider the price of the same wine in 2004, or the soon-to-be released 2006s, even though they may not be quite as complete, ripe, and pure as the 2005s, at half-price in most cases, they do represent a shrewder value.

Of course, it all comes down to the consumer, but vintage variations in quality are reflected in dramatically different prices. 2004 and 2006 will always be less expensive than 2005, but 2005 will have produced, in most cases, the finest wines."
